Mark Salling is set to release his debut solo album, 'Pipe Dreams,' next month, and now the Glee star has revealed the cover art for the record. What did he choose to put on the front of the CD? Himself, of course.

Fans of the Dallas native are in for a treat when they open Mark's CD. It features plenty of hot pics from the actor/singer's recent album photo shoot, but don't get too excited, Gleeks. There's no sign of Puck anywhere in these images.

"For the photo shoot of the album, I wanted to capture the vibe of the record," he says. "It's hopefully an honest, humble, kind of dark, but optimistic feel."

Mark posted this behind-the-scenes video on his website, giving his devotees both a taste of what's to come in pictures and music. A sample from his forthcoming album is layered over the footage while the 28-year-old talks about the inspiration behind the shoot.
We have yet to hear a full song from the record, but Mark says it channels early classic rock, alternative and "a '60s folk-beat era sound." Does that sound good to you? Watch the sweet behind-the-scenes footage from Mark's recent photo shoot below and get ready for 'Pipe Dreams' to be released on October 12. Do you think the album will be a hit?
