Lea Michele and Charice Face-Off in 'Glee' Premiere
Glee is less than a week away from returning. That means happy dance time for us, however Rachel Berry won't be so pleased in season two's first episode, titled "Audition."
Global superstar Charice (Oprah called her the most talented girl in the world) will put Rachel and her ego in place. Although the line to sign up for cheerleading tryouts began forming outside McKinley since late July -- Sue even quips, "One girl ate a pigeon. So much they want to be Cheerios" -- Mr. Schue is desperate for more students to join glee club. Hello, new foreign exchange student Sunshine Corazon.
The rest of New Directions will love their new sunny addition, but Rachel and Sunshine will go at it in the girls' bathroom. Get images of hair pulling and scratching out of your mind. They'll battle it out glee club style -- with a "Telephone" duet that ends with Sue barging in and shouting at the best vocals in New Directions to "Shut up!"
Co-creator Ryan Murphy says this episode is about "the idea that everybody's daily life is an audition for something." Sounds like something Rachel scribbled on the front of her U.S. History notebook to us.
