Shakira is getting ready to release her new album, 'The Sun Comes Out,' next month, but audiences all over the world have already been jamming to her hit single, 'Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).' Think you've heard it before? Well, the up-tempo track was also the official song for the 2010 World Cup.
In fact, 'Waka Waka' has been such an international smash that the Columbian singer made a new version of the video, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from her trip to Africa for the soccer tournament. After watching it, it's clear that Shakira is a huge fan of the sport and can hang on and off the field.
If this song is anything like the rest of 'The Sun Comes Out,' we bet Shakira has yet another best-selling album on her hands. We're already in love with the cover image for the CD, which shows the singer laying on the beach soaking up the sun (obviously), but what's really cool about it is that she's also rocking Silly Bandz just like us!
We can't tell which set she has on (could it be Justin Bieber's Silly Bandz collection?) but we back Shakira's keepin' it so real. Check out the new version of her 'Waka Waka' video below and get psyched for her the release of 'The Sun Comes Out' on October 19.
