It was only a matter of time... Justin Bieber and Greyson Chance's worlds collided on Sunday night when the two singers met backstage at the 2010 Video Music Awards. Want to hear the best part? The whole thing was filmed on camera.
Here's how it went down. Ellen Degeneres was filming her special season premiere episode post-VMAs (the stars went right from the stage to stage!). The cameras started rolling, and showed Ellen and Greyson standing in the hall waiting for JB to arrive. He comes over and gives Ellen a big hug, but he wasn't alone.
Justin rolled in with Jaden Smith and his "little bro" Jalen Testerman, one of his pint-sized dancers who performed with the 16-year-old pop star during the VMAs. JB made some quick introductions and then saw Greyson in the background.
"Greyson! What's up, man?" Justin said while walking over to the pianist and gripping his hand. "You're lookin' smooth. I like your shoes, I like your jacket."
Things seemed friendly enough, but we're still wondering if there's a little bit of awkwardness between the two stars. Maybe it's because the whole thing was kind of set up, and the cameras were filming, but Justin and Greyson didn't say much to each other...well, at least on camera.
"I got to meet Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith!" Greyson tweeted on Wednesday. "They were both very nice and gave me great advice!" Watch the clip of the encounter below and let us know what you think. Do you think there's beef between Justin and Greyson, or was the situation just crazy awkward?
