American Idol is holding open auditions for its tenth season in L.A. next week, but if you can't make it there (or don't want to wait in that crazy long line), you can now submit an audition video for the judges via MySpace. The Rachel Berrys of the world will be pleased.

"My MySpace schedule keeps me way too busy to date," the overachiever once said on Glee. "I try to post a MySpace video every day just to keep my talent alive and growing."
Remember when Glee held open auditions on MySpace in March? Well, if you didn't make the cut, here's another chance to cultivate your talent. If you're between the ages of 15 and 28 and a registered MySpace user, you can submit a video to be considered for advancement to the Los Angeles callbacks of the hit singing competition. Choose a song from the approved list and sing your heart out. Just make sure to get your entry in by October 6.

According to the social networking site, the judges will watch at least 35,000 videos. Still, you should get yours in as soon as possible. Season 10 of American Idol premieres in January, so the audition process will be a fast one. Watch Ryan Seacrest tell you all about it below and get more information at MySpace.com/AmericanIdol. Do you think you'll try out?
