Check out that hair! Cory Monteith channeled his inner Uncle Jesse on the set of Glee by busting out an old-school mullet.

Lea Michele posted this photo on Twitter and captioned it, "My @frankenteen, what beautiful locks you've grown:)"

Season two's third episode will be religious-themed, and Finn will connect with his spirituality, but then lose it...hence his solo performance of R.E.M.'s classic hit "Losing My Religion." Are those rockin' tresses part of Cory's spotlight scene?

"I've been a huge Michael Stipe [lead singer of R.E.M.] fan all my life," Cory gushes.

Let's just say Michael Stipe is lacking in the hair department, so this mullet definitely isn't paying homage to him.

"We end the episode with 'One of Us.' I think it's been a long time since the song was done properly. I hope we do it well," the 28-year-old reveals.

Have some tissues handy when you watch this ep. We promise it'll be a tear-jerker filled with life-and-death moments (yikes!) and emotional Kurt and Burt scenes. %Gallery-101174%
