Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) came to McKinley to give Finn some competition on the football field and in glee club, but will newly cast Darren Criss serve Sam a taste of his own medicine?
Darren is set to play Blaine, an outgoing gay student who's part of Dalton Academy Warblers glee club. Kurt and Blaine will be "just friends" but their relationship could switch gears to "friends with benefits" or more later in the season.
No one at camp Glee has confirmed that Sam will become Kurt's main squeeze -- we only know for sure that he will have one. Chris Colfer spills that in the first four episodes, you won't spot any love shared between Kurt and the school's new quarterback.
"Maybe it is too obvious. Our writers have a way of avoiding the obvious and throwing curveballs," Chris speculates.
So does that mean Blaine will step into the role of Kurt's better half for certain? Not so fast. A Fox source claims that the two will keep things platonic.
With all these is-he-or-isn't-he-Kurt's-boyfriend rumors swirling, we're 100 percent positive of one thing -- Darren looks much better with the haircut. Was the shorter style he showed off on Twitter for his upcoming Glee role? That's yet another question to add to the list.
