Greyson Chance wowed audiences with his cover of Lady Gaga's 'Paparazzi,' and now the 13-year-old YouTube star has a new song to share with the world: his rendition of Augustana's 'Fire.'
The San Diego rock band is one of Greyson's biggest musical influences, which is why he decided to record a cover of the hit single, but this video is just for the fans. The piano prodigy has already landed an album deal with Ellen Degeneres' ElevenEleven Records.
Greyson continues to show off both his vocal ability and his piano-playing skills in this performance, reaching for extra high notes and tickling the ivories with full-on passion. However, we would have like to see the Oklahoma native get more creative with his cover like he did with his transformation of 'Paparazzi.' Maybe he just wanted to stay true to the song his heroes wrote.
Watch the full 'Fire' performance and compare it to Augustana's original below. Do you like Greyson's cover or the original better? Do you think he did the song justice?
