Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story comes out tomorrow, and if you've been following the 16-year-old pop star on Twitter and Facebook, you know he's been counting down the days until its release. The book is the latest in a growing list of items available to fans, but with Bieber bedding, plastic Bieber dolls and more on the way, are we in danger of Bieber merch overload?
Justin's book talks about his rise to stardom, but from his own perspective. For less than $12 on Amazon, fans will get a hardcover edition, including tons of new pics and a free poster. "It's my story and I wrote it for you," Justin says in a special promo video. "It's got a lot of exclusive photos and a lot of cool stuff about me and how I got discovered."
We get Justin's book as a natural step in his career, but new items, which are either inspired by JB or feature his likeness, are popping up everywhere. The Canadian star has his own collection of Silly Bandz, an iPhone app, a line of headphones and even a new set of nail polish colors called the One Less Lonely Girl collection set to hit Walmart in Decemeber.
So how much is too much Bieber merch? Which items are cool and which cross the crazy line? We back the nail polish set (one even has heart-shaped glitter in it) and can even get behind the Silly Bandz since everyone's wearing them. But it's only a matter of time before the singer comes out with his own clothing line, sneakers and who knows what else. Where do you draw the line?
