Um, Did Mark Salling's Noah Puckerman Character Just Get Written Off Glee?

Spoiler alert! If you don't live on the east coast, stop reading. Tonight's episode of Glee just aired and it was announced to the New Directions members in the first minute that Noah 'Puck' Puckerman, played by Mark Salling, booked himself a one-way ticket to juvenile hall.

This is not good news for Mark, considering they axed Dijon Talton easily enough on the season two premiere by saying he had transferred schools and have introduced another 'cute guy' on the show by the name of Chord Overstreet. Not to mention that time back in May when Ryan Murphy hinted that either Mark or Kevin McHale's character might not stay on the show.

So is that it? Is Mark off the show? Could it be that he wanted to leave to pursue his music career? He has yet to tweet anything about being unhappy on Glee, unless you count this tweet about how many people make it a point to tell him they do not watch him on the show.

But it's not like the show hasn't ditched characters before only to bring them back. Example one, Jonathan Groff is coming back as Jesse St. James. Example two, we just learned that Charice will be back for more as well.

charice on Glee
Filipino media outlet, The Philippine Star, reports that not only will Charice will be back as Sunshine Corazon (we were pretty sure she would be), but that it will be soon. As in, episode six! They also report that Cha, as she is called in the Philippines, likes a dish called Isaw, which is comprised of chicken intestines boiled with onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Hmmm.

What do you think about tonight's episode? Puck will be back, right?
