Should Justin Bieber Make A Rap Album?
Meet Shawty Mane, Justin Bieber's rapping alter ego.
Yesterday, JB tweeted, "Speaking in tongues freestyle.. who knew i could rap lol.. my alter ego rap name is Shawty Mane.. hah," and linked to a video of himself rapping in a studio while wearing his signature geek chic glasses.
He's actually not bad. Is it wrong that we're surprised by this?
"Speaking in Tongues" references Lady Gaga and NFL quarterback Tom Brady -- who's been accused of copying Bieber's mop top hairstyle.
Part of the lyrics include, "Stop, drop, and roll, Justin Bieber is on fire. It's time to realize it's time to call me young sire. You're the seller. I'm the buyer. You're the teller and I'm hired. I'm higher than the highest point. Yes, I am flier, and I'm wired to the game. Stay dry when it rains. I'm tired of the fame. Are you proud of the pain? Yes, we're the same. Yes, I'm insane."
Biebs ends the video saying, "You know, I just wanted to do this just to prove that I've got skills on the rap game, so yeah."
Point taken. This is only a glimpse into Justin Bieber the rapper, but do you think he could drop a successful rap single? Hey, if he can turn Laffy Taffy into the top trending topic, we don't put anything past the powers of Bieber.
