Justin Bieber Loves Angry Birds - Have You Heard of It Now?
Last month, we told you guys about an app called Angry Birds, which has taken Hollywood by storm in more ways than one. Now, Justin Bieber has jumped on the bandwagon, too.
"I love the game Angry Birds," the 16-year-old pop star tweeted on Saturday. "It's so sick."
Not only have celebs like Cory Monteith, Pete Wentz and Conan O'Brien expressed their obsession with the game, but the popular physics-based app has become an international success with over 17.5 million downloads (for the free and paid versions) in over 60 countries around the world. Still, nearly 58 percent of our readers say they've never heard of Angry Birds.
When we posted about the app in September, only about 27 percent of you admitted to being as obsessed with the game as JB and Cory. "I can't get my mom to stop playing that!!!" JSYK reader Doodlemonkey222 commented. "She's done with all the levels so now she's working on getting a perfect score..."
But now that Justin tweeted about it, are those who didn't know what it was before at least kind of aware of what it is now? The Bieb has 5.7 million followers, so tweeting out a comment about Angry Birds could get Beliebers to at least Google it. Were you one of them? Or are apps just not your thing? %Poll-54479%
