Willow Smith has been rocking her own signature style from the get-go, but the 9-year-old took things to a new level in her just-premiered 'Whip My Hair' video. From her bedazzled lips to her multicolored hair and her funky 3-D nails to her edgy street wear, could the talented young artist be the next Lady Gaga?
One thing's for sure, Willow is a huge fan of the innovative pop star, and would love to collaborate with her. "[Somebody] I would really want to work with on a song would be Lady Gaga," she said in an interview with New York's Power 105.1. "She is amazing! She's just so amazing, she's a free person. She's a free girl, baby."
If Gaga is Willow's idol, it shows. Not only does the youngest Smith family member love to experiment with her own distinct look, she also has the musical chops to back it up. To be fair, we haven't heard Willow truly show off her pipes just yet, but we know she's got flow and can carry enough of a tune to make 'Whip My Hair' the kind of song that's always stuck in your head.
We sure hope Lady Gaga considers working with Willow -- although Greyson Chance might be first in line for that collabo -- but until then, we definitely have our eye on Jaden Smith's baby sis. We can't wait to see what she can do on her debut album, and are hoping to see her get behind an instrument soon, too. We wouldn't be mad at Willow Smith clothing and accessories line, either -- you know, as long as it didn't include any meat dresses.
