You may not know who Memphis High is, but you should. Grant Vogel, 17, and Witt McKay, 16, make up the Tennessee duo, who know just how to write a great pop song with some serious soul. Want to hear a taste of their music? The boys have hooked us up with their hot-off-the-press single 'Riverside' for you to listen to and download here.

Grant and Witt met at around age 11 through their mutual vocal coach, and have been working on their songwriting ever since. Fast forward to 2010 when they duo finally got the chance to get in the studio in Los Angeles and Nashville to record their debut album with the same producers who have worked with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, David Archuleta and more.
That's an impressive group of collaborators! The talented teens are super excited for their fans to hear their full record, but for now, they're giving them a taste of what's to come with their new single 'Riverside,' which Witt says is about that special place where you go to forget all of your worries.

"Everyone has there own Riverside where they can get away and forget about it all," Witt tells JSYK. "We have a lot of memories in Memphis by the Mississippi river with our friends -- it's totally the place to go. What we wanted to do was write a song that would mean something different to each person. It's not meant to be a literal riverside, although it does speak to that in parts of the song."

Listen to 'Riverside' and check out the band's video for 'Criminal Love' below. Want to rock the new song on your iPod? Right click on the download link and choose the "save as" option and add the file right to your iTunes. What do you think of Memphis High? Do you love 'em or what?
