Lady Gaga knows exactly how to push the envelope when it comes to fashion, but with so many dramatic looks, we don't think she needs to do anything but be herself on Halloween. Of course, you might be considering dressing up as the pop star, but we think she can scrap any plans for looking like someone (or something) else on the holiday.
We know Gaga has a passion for fashion and loves to do things her way, so really, how can she top herself on Halloween? "Silks, fabrics, shoes + jewels, fashion dreams + breaking rules," she tweeted last month, and breaking rules is obviously what the singer does best. Let's take a look at her recent costumes...
On Friday, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving her London hotel donning blue and grey hair and a white dress with black piping. The dress was pretty tame, but her hair and glasses stole the show. The blingy specs had round lenses and a goggle effect that seemed to come in pretty handy amidst the paparazzi.
Last month, Gaga got political and spoke at the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network Grassroots Rally in Portland, Maine. But even though she toned things down from her usual shocking looks, she was still able to put her flair on her outfit with oversized geek chic glasses, platinum blond locks and a patriotic tie.
Gaga showed up to the 2010 Video Music Awards in this colorful warrior princess outfit, which was reportedly a tribute to her late friend and designer Alexander McQueen. She rocked a dramatic feather mohawk and a Renaissance printed dress, plus that blue-highlighted hair she loves so much.
Later at the VMAs, the singer raised eyebrows with her famous meat dress. Yes, it was literally made out of meat. But what really added extra gore was the slab of meat Gaga wore as a hat. Who needs a Halloween costume when you're bold enough to wear animal flesh on the red carpet?
