Want to Have Halloween at Your Fingertips? Try These Nail Options.
By now you (hopefully) have your costume set, but for those who want to add some extra bling to their outfits, there are several Halloween-ready nail options that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Oh, and guys, you can get in on this stuff, too.
Last week, we told you about Minx, a special set of high fashion decals that stars like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna have been rocking lately. Well, if you're not down with spending $55 for a Minx manicure, but still want to have festive hands, Sephora has several Halloween options in their Chic Prints for Nails line that will only run you $15. Skulls, anyone?
The decals are quick and easy to put on, especially if you just want to get the look for this holiday weekend. Whether you're going to a 'Rocky Horror Glee Show' party or just trick-or-treating around your 'hood, these nail accessories will definitely pump up the volume on your costume. Check out singer Tyson Ritter from The All-American Rejects rocking the Minx look with celebrity manicurist Naomi Yasuda. See? Instant awesome.
Katy Perry is also coming out with a line of nail polishes, including one called Black Shatter, which you can use over a bright lacquer to create a crackle effect that's perfect for Halloween. Unfortunately, Katy's polish won't be available until January, but we found something that's just as good.
Amazon is selling black crackle nail polish made by Mia Secret for just $6.25. If you hurry, you might be able to get it in time for Sunday, but if you're really in a rush, check out your local dollar store. The crackle polish fad has come and go, so you might get lucky with a bottle of Mia Secret or find a discontinued polish that will work just as well.
Of course, there's always good old black, green and/or orange nail polish that will do the trick, too. Will you be painting your nails for the holiday? %Poll-54978%
