Taylor Swift is following in the footsteps of her pop star peers by launching her own line of fragrance products next year. The 20-year-old country star has announced her partnership with Elizabeth Arden, who will help her develop and market the upcoming scent collection.

"I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts," Taylor said in a statement. "Lately I've been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I'm really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance."
It's no wonder why the beauty powerhouse wanted to team up with Tay -- her success from her 'Fearless' and 'Speak Now' albums, well, speaks for itself. But how will it compare to Justin Bieber's My World fragrance and Lady Gaga's upcoming perfume?

Well, for one, JB's line will be sold as scented accessories, and will only be available at Wal-Mart. Taylor's first fragrance will debut in "prestige retailers," which means bigger department stores and a higher price point.

However, My World will hit shelves this month, while fans have to wait until 2011 to sample Taylor's scent. There's an even longer wait for Lady Gaga's fragrance, which won't debut until 2012.

We don't have any clues as to what the Nashville resident's first perfume will smell like yet, but we bet it will be super feminine and not too overpowering. Justin's My World scent is unisex and has bergamot, lychee, pomegranate, cedar and musk notes.

What do you think? Is Justin's scent something you'd like to try or will you wait to see what Taylor's perfume smells like? Maybe you'd rather spend your money on Gaga's creation, or make room for all three. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.%Poll-55114%
