Kim Kardashian recently announced that she and her sisters are launching their own branded debit card, specifically aimed at teens. The reality stars have teamed up with Mobile Resource Card to offer fans a way to spend sensibly with the prepaid plastic, but are the Kardashian girls really the right people for the job?

The Kardashian Prepaid Mastercard is set to arrive on November 10, and hosts several features, including the ability to transfer funds to the card using your cell phone. On her blog, Kim calls this the "coolest thing" about the card and adds, "It's like having an ATM in your phone, LOL."
"No one likes going to banks and ATMs and we're constantly on our phones, so why not make it easy to manage your money from your mobile!?" she says.

While being able to transfer money to your card at the touch of a button is a convenient feature, it may be a little too easy to access more cash, leading to overspending. But, if your parents are the ones adding funds, that could help keep your purchases in check.

We love watching the girls on TV, but they're used to buying things like designer bags, shoes and clothing on a whim. They can afford it, but fans who try their best to "keep up with the Kardashians" might get into trouble trying to spend as freely.

What do you think of the Kardashian prepaid debit card? Do you think it would help you budget your money better? Would you want to get one just because the girls are involved? %Poll-55459%
