On Monday night, Justin Bieber tweeted about his manager, Scooter Braun, sporting a handlebar moustache for Movember. Well, that wasn't a typo -- Movember is a month-long charity event in which participants grow moustaches to raise funds and awareness for men's cancer.

"Still hyped and exhausted and this dude @scooterbraun is celebrating Movember with a sweet handle bar mustache," Justin tweeted along with this photo after his St. Louis show.
Moments later, JB egged his pals on to sport the look, too. He wrote: "@thatrygood and @kennyhamilton you need to get the handle bars going. Lol."

But all jokes aside, Movember is a great cause. In 2009, the effort raised $40 million worldwide. The program currently runs in six different countries, but in the U.S., funds benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.

Whether for Movember, personal reasons or just sheer laziness, many stars have been snapped with growing moustaches and scruffy facial hair. Remember when Taylor Lautner let his face get fuzzy for a New Moon screening? And Zac Efron has added a serious 'stache to his look recently, which was first spotted when he presented at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.

The Biebs may not be sporting any facial hair these days, but it's cool to know that he's encouraging others to support the cause. If you're not able to rock a 'stache (girls, we're talking to you, too), you can do your part by spreading the word and learning more about men's health at Movember.com.
