Check out the video of Driscoll Middle School's quarterback Jason Garza taking the football and literally walking past the opposing team's players -- sort of pretending like the game hadn't started even though the play clock was running.

Once he leisurely strolls past the defense, the Corpus Christi student then makes a mad dash toward the end zone, and by that point it's too late for the other team to stop him.

"This was the coolest trick we had," spills Assistant Coach John De Los Santos to said. "We hadn't really needed it until the last game of the season and it benefited us in the long run."

Nice job, guys.

Is football a big deal at your school? JSYK reader Babsvolleyball tweets to us, "We don't even have a football team anymore cause we are so bad." That's okay -- she'll be repping her school at a volleyball tournament this weekend.
