How Do You Feel about Willow Palin's Homophobic Rant on Facebook? We Think It Sucks

A Facebook battle
broke out last week after Sarah Palin's reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska, first aired.

According to TMZ, Sarah's 16-year-old daughter Willow wrote on her FB wall, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot."

First, it's 'you're.' Second, Willow's rumored to have been responding to a boy named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids, and initially posted on his Facebook page, "Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now."
Willow continued writing, "Tre stfu. Your such a f**got." Big sister Bristol also posted, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh*t."

Not cool, Willow. We understand that she was responding to something she viewed as a threat to her family. Think how defensive you would get if you were in Willow's situation and someone was talking smack on your mom. But it's completely unacceptable to make gay slurs your verbal punches.

Willow deleted her FB account and Bristol has since posted an apology on her Facebook page. She wrote, "Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize. On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!"

Bristol also later added, "May we always be happy, and may our enemies know it!"

We hope everyone involved (and everyone reading this) realizes the hate that homophobic slurs spread. Is there anything you'd want to tell Bristol or Willow?
