To Write Love on Her Arms has always been one of our favorite non-profit organizations, and now it's being recognized for all the help it has provided for struggling teens over the years. The Florida-based outfit has been nominated for Must-Follow Non-Profit at the 2010 Mashable Awards, which celebrates the achievements of people and groups in the digital and social media world.
"There are so many great organizations doing great work. We're more than honored to be considered one folks should follow," TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski tells JSYK exclusively. "So much of our story has been people lending their passion and their voices to what we believe is an important conversation -- talking about things so many of us deal with, but few people talk about."
Fans have two weeks left to vote for TWLOHA to win this huge recognition. You can vote once a day here until December 15, and winners will be announced at the Mashable Awards in Las Vegas on January 6. Check out this new video of Jamie talking to the students at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, to see what the org is all about. Good luck, TWLOHA!
