Facebook Founder Talks Profile Changes to Create "Amazing Connections" with Friends
If you logged on Facebook today then you may have noticed things look a little different. That's because the social networking site's founder Mark Zuckerberg is aiming to create a more personal experience by making it easier to really know your friends –- and allow people to know you better.
Your personal information will now be at the top of the page, and you'll also see your most recent photos now scrolling like a ticker across the top. In addition to seeing how many friends you have in common with someone, you'll also learn how many photos you're mutually tagged in.
"You can see all the things that you have in common with that person," Mark says about the new 'See Friendship' tab. "And it's just like, it gives you this amazing connection with that person in a way that the current version of the profile that we have today just doesn't do."
Unlike previous changes to the site's layout, this one is voluntary (for now). If you want to check it out, go to facebook.com/about/profile. If you already upgraded to the new version, tell us what you think.
