Plain White T's are releasing their new album, 'Wonders of the Younger,' on December 7, but now you can listen to the entire CD one day early. What can you expect from the 'Big Bad World' follow-up? We'll let lead singer Tom Higgenson tell you himself.

"The name of the new album is the 'Wonders of the Younger,' because the songs I was writing were very kind of visual, and very adventurous and kind of a bigger scope of songs," the frontman says on Part 2 of the band's new album webisodes. "It wasn't just a boy-girl thing anymore. There's a lot of nostalgia, a lot of imagination and creativity going on this album, more than we have before, for sure."
Tom also says he remembers watching the movie Goonies and really believing there was buried treasure in his backyard. Those kinds of childhood hopes and dreams are what inspired the band's sixth studio album.

"When you're a kid, all you're worried about is what happening right then and there, and I think there's a beauty in that that you kind of lose thorughout your life," he adds. "You don't really take the time to do that stuff anymore."

The Illinois natives have come a long way since their 'Hey There Delilah' days, but fans will be most definitely be impressed with what they hear. In the end, though, Tom hopes listeners will be able to escape through his band's new music. "For the 45 minutes listening to this album, hopefully it'll take their minds off of real life and their problems...whatever it is," he says.
