How awesome would it be to play dress-up with anything and everything you want with just one click? Well, a new Japanese Google commercial shows that with Internet access and a projector, you can make the coolest virtual dressing room ever.

In the video, we see a bunch of girls who have set up a projector to magnify their computer screen. The girls take turns standing against a white wall while another uses Google to pull up dresses, accessories and even a kimono (BTW, they are not easy to get on in real life).
The projection allows the group of friends to virtually try on anything. Isn't that fun? While the concept isn't new, and it's totally possible to replicate in your own home now with a projector and a laptop, it does open up a world of possibilty for the future. Can you imagine if your mirror was a touch screen hooked up to the Internet and could pull virtual clothes to try on?

Of course, one size doesn't necessarily fit all when it comes to product images, so techies should think about providing size options, if they ever invent a real virtual dressing room in the future. But with the technology that's available now, there's still plenty of fun to be had.
