Stupid! Bored Teen Pretends to Be a Cop and Ends Up Arrested
A Florida teen was feeling bored, so he decided it would be fun to impersonate a cop. Right.
Leonel Abreau and his friends had nothing else better to do, so they tried to pull over a mom driving along the highway. With his high beams glaring, Leonel used the siren and intercom installed on his car (um, why does he have these in the first place?) to get the woman's attention.
"He said to turn off my car and put my keys on the hood. And I'm like, 'I've been pulled over before and I know that's not how it's supposed to happen,'" she says.
Someone from the 18-year-old's vehicle then said, "Never mind" and Leonel made a U-turn. The woman did the same thing, thinking she may have been involved in a potential car theft situation and needed to get his license plate number.
"I'm like, 'This person is not going to play with me. They're not going to try to rob somebody,'" the pulled-over woman continued.
Leonel was arrested for impersonating a police officer and called his prank a mistake. What do you think: Should he get jail time, community service, or just a warning for the prank?
