Dianna Agron and the cast of 'Glee' recently signed several children's books, which were auctioned off on eBay to raise money for 826LA, a non-profit organization that inspires and supports students ages 6 to 18 to exercise their creative writing skills. With just a little Twitter and online promotion, the stars raised over $3,000 for the org in just one week.

"I picked random books that I love and the cast picked from the bag," Dianna tweeted to fans with a little extra encouragement. "826 love. - Only been up for a day and already we've gotten to a strong start! Bid away!"
Ten books were up for auction, and included classics like 'Peter Pan,' 'The Cat in the Hat' and 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' (obviously). The books were signed by one cast member and were put up for bid individually with auctions ending on Christmas Day. Dianna, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Harry Shum, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison and Jenna Ushkowitz all participated.

In total, the 'Glee' crew raised $3,044.65 for the free writing programs offered by 826LA. Dianna's autographed 'Alice in Wonderland' book fetched the most money with a winning bid of $861.08. Cory's signed copy of 'The Stinky Cheese Man' raised the second highest amount with a winning bid of $440.52.

Way to go, guys! Did you bid on any of the 'Glee'-signed children's books? Which one would you have wanted, and what do you think of the cast's do-gooder deed? %Poll-57972%
