JSYK Book Week: Is The 'Hush, Hush' Series The Next 'Twilight?'
It's a total hit for teens. A JSYK reader commented, "VOTE HUSH HUSH!! I've read it and it's really good. It's gonna be a HIT!!!:D Trust me!"
'Hush, Hush' is about a high school student named Nora who becomes attracted to her Biology partner, Patch. She finds out in the story that he is actually a fallen angel. The basis of the book is to show that angels exist and interact with humans on Earth but that sometimes it can be very dangerous too.
As for the sequel, 'Crescendo,' which was released on October 19th, 2010, is promised to be as good as the first book. The third book in the series, 'Tempest' will be released Fall 2011.
In 'Crescendo,' Patch starts to distance himself from Nora and she can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his attention has shifted to her enemy Marcie Millar.
Nora also becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to her dad. That leads her to find out some interesting things about her family and Patch and how they could be intertwined in some way. The basis of the book is her trying to find out if can she really count on Patch or if he is hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine.
