Is this for real? An 18-year-old girl in Washington state stabbed a 19-year-old after he teased her during a party for having stinky feet.
Dallas Smith was drunk at the party and took her shoes off so she could attempt \a back flip off a deck. (Not smart!) Willy Simpson then began teasing Dallas for having smelly feet and Dallas began to hit him. Willy pushed her away but Dallas took a knife from her coat and struck him in the back with it, causing one of his lungs to collapse. The 19-year-old boy needed to be transported to Seattle for surgery to have the knife removed.
Dallas pleaded guilty to second-degree assault with a knife and apologized for her "great error in judgment." Last week a judge sentenced the teen to 15 months in prison but also added something else to her sentence -- Dallas must research and write a six-page paper about the ways excessive drinking can destroy lives.
"Let me be absolutely clear: This case is not about smelly feet," said Snohomish County Superior Court Judge David Kurtz. "It is about binge drinking and criminal behavior that did flow from that."
