The wait is almost over, Gleeks. On Sunday, February 6, Fox will air a special new episode of 'Glee' following the Super Bowl, which, after two long months, is definitely something to sing about.
'The Sue Sylvester Bowl Shuffle' episode will be shown with limited commercials, and will feature the New Directions crew performing 'Thriller' during a halftime show. We've been hearing a lot of buzz about this performance, and now we've got a sneak peek of it in these new photos from the episode.
Meanwhile, Sue is plotting for a Cheerios win at Nationals, which involves a plan that could potentially harm Brittany (classic Sue). In one of the photos, we see Quinn, Santana, Brittany and other cheerleaders wearing blue wigs, a glimpse of what we'll get from their cover of 'California Gurls.'
Although it was rumored that Charice would return to the series in this episode, her name does not appear in Fox's official press release about the show. On the up side, a brand-new episode of 'Glee' will air two days later on Tuesday, February 8, as the series returns to its regular schedule. Yes!
