JSYK readers had mixed feelings about 'American Idol's' decision to lower the minimum age requirement to audition to 15 -- among many other changes this season. Fifty-one percent of you said it was a smart idea considering the enormity of Bieber Fever.

Still, others were more reserved and one JSYK reader commented, "The voice really isn't advanced enough at that age. The older contestants would have better-developed voices and an unfair advantage."

'American Idol' is airing episodes now that show who's going to Hollywood, and among everyone else auditioning the 15-year-olds trying out are completely holding their own.

Georgia teen Lauren Alaina, 15, blew the judges away with her amazing voice and she's already getting tons of buzz about being Idol's 10th (and youngest) winner.

Also a judges' fave was 15-year-old Louisiana native Jacee Badeaux, who sang "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" and scored three yes's. Watch out for this one, Biebs.

The youngest hopefuls are having so much success, in fact, that Ryan Seacrest noted every 15 year old who the judges saw in Milwaukee received a golden ticket taking them to the next round.
