It was only a matter of time before the cast of 'Glee' released an original song, and now Gleeks everywhere can hear the New Directions crew shine on their new track, 'Loser Like Me,' which is available on 'Glee: The Music, Volume 5.'

'Glee' music producer Adam Anders tells EW.com that the song is a "Gleek anthem. It's a very uptempo, kind-of-summery hit." But you should judge for yourself.
The upbeat ensemble track is about being a "loser," but having the confidence to know that all the bullies and haters will one day have a change of heart. 'Loser Like Me' has an addictive pop vibe, thanks to superstar producer Max Martin (Britney Spears, Pink), and will appear on the March 15 episode of 'Glee.'

But 'Loser Like Me' isn't the only original song on the new episode. Lea Michele will showcase her voice on the ballad 'Get It Right,' which also appears on the new 'Glee' soundtrack, along with other Season 2 hits like Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now,' Katy Perry's 'Firework' and Justin Bieber's 'Baby.'

The soundtrack will also include songs that have yet to air on 'Glee,' including covers of Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' and Joan Jett's 'Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah).' Did you love Gwyneth Paltrow's role on the show? Well, fans will get to hear her 'Forget You' song and upcoming cover of Prince's 'Kiss' on the record, too.

Listen to 'Loser Like Me' below. What do you think of it? Do you like hearing Lea and Cory singing original material? Let us know in the comments. 'Glee: The Music, Volume 5' will be available online and in stores on March 8.
