Nikki Yanofsky is currently working on songs for her new album, but on Wednesday, she decided to take a little break to cover Cee Lo Green's 'Forget You' for her fans.

In the video, you see the 17-year-old with guitarist Jesse Gold and keyboardist JP Saxe, who accompany Nikki on some of the verses and background vocals. The cutest part is when the guys use the jazz singer's name in the line,"Just thought you should know, Nikki!"
The neo-Motown jam made a huge splash last year, peaking at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and earning more than 2 million downloads to date. Its video became a viral hit, and the song reached mega status when it was covered by Gwyneth Paltrow on 'Glee.'

This year, Cee Lo won a Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative Performance and performed a blowout rendition of the song with Gwyneth and the Muppets at the event. Nikki's version may not include Oscar-winning stars and lively puppets, but the stripped down take totally works.

Take a look at the trio's cover below. What do you think of Nikki's rendition? Does it show off her powerful pipes or what? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
