What would Hermione say about Emma Watson dropping out of college?

We're kidding of course. We fully support Emma Watson's decision to take time off from her studies at Brown to focus on promoting 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' and fulfilling her other acting commitments like 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower.'

Don't forget she also has her environmentally responsible fashion line too. No doubt about it, girl has a lot going on.

Emma posted a statement on her official blog earlier that, while she loves studying, it's just becoming too much to juggle. She hopes to only take one or two semesters off and she's still planning on earning her degree... which we totally believe.

Our friends at Teen.com are speculating that Emma might have been cast as Katniss in 'The Hunger Games' movie. We would LOVE that!

Meanwhile, one of her 'Harry Potter' costars, Daniel Radcliffe, will hardly take any time off promote the last film in the series; he'll only take three days off from performing in 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying' on Broadway for the movie's London and New York City premieres.
Read Emma's full statement below:

Hi everyone

As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.

I've decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought : )

Hope you are all well! Thank you for all your continuing support.
Emma xx
