When Dianna Agron posted her YouTube celebrity playlist, it confirmed that the 'Glee' star has great taste in music. But if you're wondering how to discover more artists like the ones that Dianna picked, we found the perfect solution.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the annual South by Southwest festival is offering a free sampler on iTunes, featuring 21 songs from selected artists performing at the event this year. That's over $20 worth of free music. How sweet is that?
Dubbed SXSW, the music portion of the festival hosts a slew of developing and veteran artists at dozens of showcases over the course of five days. It is the best place to see emerging bands and catch surprise performances from some of today's biggest stars, and this year, over 2,000 artists will be playing on nearly 100 stages.
But not everyone can get to Austin, Texas, which is why we're super psyched about this free compilation. While it includes songs from brand new groups, the album also offers tracks from more established artists like Bright Eyes, G. Love, Lucinda Williams and Talib Kweli.
We're willing to bet that Dianna has already downloaded the comp to her iPod. Get your free copy of the 2011 'SXSW: Featured Artists' sampler on iTunes now and let us know what you think. Which song is your favorite?
