Rebecca Black's new single, 'Friday,' has become an Internet sensation, amassing over 3.4 million video plays in just a matter of days. However, people aren't praising the tune -- they're calling it the worst song ever.

On the surface, the song by the 13-year-old Los Angeles, Calif. native sounds just like a lot of pop jams, but once Rebecca's voice kicks in, her lyrics make the song downright cringe-worthy. She sings: "Yesterday was Thursday / Today it is Friday / Tomorrow is Saturday / And Sunday comes afterward."
Rebecca's record label, Ark Music Factory, posted the video for 'Friday' on YouTube on February 10. On March 11, it only had about 4,000 views. However, thanks to a little media attention, the song has become a trending topic and viral hit.

Viewers have left comments on the video, saying that the song "sucks" and calling it "terrible" and "unbelievable." Some think the single is a joke, and others feel like the artist is trying to capitalize on the same vibe as songs like Justin Bieber's 'Baby.'

Despite its literal lyrics, others are saying the song is catchy, and support the viral success of the teen singer. Watch the video for 'Friday' below. What do you think? Are people being too harsh or is it really the worst song ever?
