Emily Osment recently went record shopping in Los Angeles with our friends at Cambio, and after the mini spree, she took the time to talk about her musical inspirations and much more.

"When it comes to my own music, I feel like the records that I listen to sometimes don't reflect the style of music that I myself create," she explains outside of the famed L.A. record store Amoeba.
Emily says she listened to a lot of European hip-hop, rap and dub step while in the studio with her 'Fight or Flight' producer, which may come to a surprise to fans of her pop tunes. But, if you listen closely to some of her more electronic-based tracks, you may be able to pick up on the influences.

Emily also says she listened to a lot of Air and Tinie Tempah, but reveals that she really admires the female lead singers of groups like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric and No Doubt. We totally understand why.

The former 'Hannah Montana' star also talks about her recently canceled tour with Drake Bell, explaining that, while it's a disappointment, it has given her a chance to focus on songwriting and acting. Find out what she had to say about it all in Cambio's exclusive interview here.
