Should Justin Bieber Record a Duet With Rebecca Black?
Rebecca Black has been trending on Twitter ever since her music video for 'Friday' hit the Web, and now the 13-year-old is hoping to land a duet with none other than Justin Bieber. But will the collaboration ever happen? We're not so sure.
Rebecca appeared on 'Good Morning America' on March 18 to talk about her viral success, and when the interviewer, Andrea Canning, asked the 17-year-old singer about her dream duet, she gushed about the Canadian star.
"I have Bieber Fever," she said. "I am in love with Justin Bieber. That would just be ... oh my gosh. Just thinking of it just gives me butterflies."
Then Rebecca was given the chance to send a message to the pop singer. "Justin, if you're watching this right now, would you do a duet with me?" she asked. "That would be unreal. That would just make my life."
Justin hasn't made an clear response about the proposition, but judging by a tweet he sent on March 19, the collabo is probably not happening anytime soon. "Sunday comes after Saturday?" he wrote. "Weird."
However, anything can happen. With over 30 million plays on YouTube and reigning spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart, Rebecca's buzz is only growing.
