Rebecca Black appeared on the 'Tonight Show With Jay Leno' on Tuesday to talk about all the criticism she's been getting for her song, 'Friday.' But whether you hate to love her or love to hate her, the 13-year-old is doing a great thing with the money she's earning from her single.

"I'm donating the proceeds to Japan and my school," she told the late-night talk show host. How much money is it exactly? More than what you probably think for a song that's received so much flack in the past two weeks.
According to Billboard, Rebecca is making nearly $25,000 per week on her song. This number is just an estimate, as sales will vary week-to-week, but if she continues at this rate, that could be a whole lot of money for disaster relief.

Many parodies of Rebecca's tune have surfaced on the Web this month, and even Nick Jonas jumped on the 'Friday' train when he covered the song on Sunday at the Concert for Hope. Rebecca has also received messages of support from stars such as Willow Smith, Cody Simpson and Ryan Seacrest, she says.

Watch a clip of Rebecca's interview, including a performance of 'Friday,' below. Will you buy a copy of the song now that you know the money is going to a good cause? Let us know what you think in the comments.
