Darren Criss is putting his talent and celebrity to good use next month. The 'Glee' star will be performing with the SFGC Alumnae Chorus and the Yale Glee Club for a gala benefit to prevent bullying in schools. The concert will take place at San Francisco's Marines' Memorial Theatre on May 14.

Proceeds from the performance will benefit two local non-profit organizations, No Bully and YouthAware. No Bully works to end mistreatment in schools, while New Conservatory Theatre Center's YouthAware program presents social issues in enlightened ways, and encourages teens to make healthier life choices.
Darren has been involved in quite a bit of charity events in the past, including work with Toys for Tots and the Trevor Project. In fact, he even performed a rendition of 'Teenage Dream' at the Trevor Project gala in December alongside Katy Perry herself.

Tickets for the Yale Glee Club gala range in price from $75 - $125. We know that seems pretty steep, but it is for charity. For more information on the event and how to score tickets, visit MarinesMemorialTheatre.com.
