Emma Watson to Leave Brown University for Another School
While 'Harry Potter' is coming to an end, it looks like Emma Watson's time at Brown University is, as well. A spokeswoman for the British star says she'll be transferring to another school in the fall.
According to the New York Times, Emma is going to pursue courses that aren't offered at the Ivy league college. Some say the 21-year-old actress was bullied at the school, but Emma's rep denied the reports, adding that she "has absolutely loved her time at Brown."
Emma began her freshman year at the Rhode Island university in 2009. In an interview with Paste magazine, she said, "It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading and if I'm not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book. That's how I escape stress -- in literature."
Emma has reportedly been cast in the upcoming film 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower,' and has signed on to be the new face of Lancome. In addition to working on her People Tree clothing line this summer, she will be promoting 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' around its July 15 release.
