Selena Gomez Is 'Feeling Much Better,' Thanks Fans for Support
Last weekend, Selena Gomez was in and out of the hospital and had to reschedule the first date of her 'Monte Carlo' mall tour, but the 18-year-old singer is reporting that she's "feeling much better" now.
"Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding," Selena wrote on her Facebook page on Monday. "Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off."
Hours later, she explained what happened to her to reporters at the show. "I was just very malnourished, so I was low on iron and exhausted," she said.
Last Friday, after her appearance on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,' the 'When the Sun Goes Down' singer checked into a hospital when she said she was suffering a severe headache and nausea. The next day, she went back to the hospital for more tests.
Selena was scheduled to appear at Santa Monica Place on June 10, but the appearance was rescheduled on Monday due to her illness. "I want to thank you so much for coming," she said at the appearance. "If you guys came on Friday, I'm so sorry that I couldn't be here. ... I love you guys very much."
