Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore star in the new romance 'The Art of Getting By,' and while the two celebs easily light up the screen on their own, there's also a third character in the film: New York City.
The movie follows George, a senior who gets through high school without doing any real work, and Sally, the complicated beauty who intrigues him. In this exclusive clip, fans not only get to see scenes from the upcoming movie, but they also get to see Emma and Freddie talking about the NYC backdrop, and why shooting in the Big Apple was so important to the film.
"It was incredibly inspiring being in New York, and inspiring being amongst a crew when working five weeks," says the British actor. "It's not just about the skyline of Manhattan, it's how people, who live in New York, actually live."
Emma adds, "It's a personal New York where everyone who sees this movie might not know exactly where things are, but for the people that do, it's going to be really, really cool."
