The Maine have been busy touring the country on their co-headlining dates with Augustana, but the tour is just about to end. The Arizona five-piece will wrap their North American run on June 18 in their hometown, and bassist Garrett Nickelsen says he'll miss his friends and tourmates dearly.
However, there won't be too much time to be sad, as the boys will be heading to the studio soon to record their next album. Here, Garrett offers up his final Road Report along with more personal pics, including one special shot with actor Danny Devito. Read all about it The Maine's last tour recap below.
Hey everyone! We are one our last few days of tour. It really has blown my mind how quickly this whole thing came and went. Every show I couldn't have asked it to be any different. I know we all had such a great time over the past month and half. I will really miss everyone on the tour. I'm really going to miss hearing Gibbs and Augustana play their sets every night. It's going to be a bummer not hearing some of my favorite songs all summer.
I can't be to sad because we start recording soon. I think I could be in the worst mood ever, go to the studio and have some fun. There is just something about recording music i can't get enough of. It lets you express your feelings in the way of music. Nothing is more magical than that.
Well, this looks like the end of my blogging from this tour. Thanks for checking out some of my words. I'm not much of a writer but maybe it was funny to check out my horrible grammar/spelling. I hope you have an amazing summer, and maybe we can get some new tunes out to you sooner than later! See Yaaaa! -Garrett
