Sean Kingston Tweets First Message and Photo Since Jet Ski Crash
Sean Kingston is still in the hospital recovering from his recent jet ski accident, but in his first tweet since May 29, the 21-year-old singer says he's doing well.
"Feeling alot better! GOD IS GREAT!" Sean tweeted on Sunday with a photo of himself. "Thanks for all the prayers and support! Love you ALL!"
Sean was admitted into Jackson Ryder Trauma Center after crashing his jet ski into Palm Island Bridge last month. He was riding with longtime friend Cassandra Sanchez, who said Sean was going "really fast," passing their friend who was jet-skiing with them.
"Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them," Cassandra said. "When we turned a corner and crashed ... they were so far behind us they didn't even see us crash."
Sean's friend only sustained minor injuries. Since the accident, the singer has received an outpouring of support from his fans and friends, including messages from Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and 'Eenie Meenie' collaborator Justin Bieber.
