Owl City, aka Adam Young, takes inspiration from 'Back to the Future' in the video for his new single 'Deer in the Headlights,' which is featured on his latest album 'All Things Bright and Beautiful.'

"It's a quirky video for a cheeky song that quips, 'Why are we in love if it's for all the wrong reasons?'" he tells JSYK. "The song is about fending off the blinding light of superficial fluff relationships and saying, 'Thanks, but I'd rather be alone and thus avoid a million shallow heartbreaks until I meet the girl of my dreams.'"
In the clip, we see Adam driving the iconic DeLorean and seeing everything from floating jellyfish to a Tyrannosaurus roaming the earth. He stops in a convenience store and sees a sweet baby deer in the aisle, before turning around and locking eyes with a girl at the counter.

The girl, played by singer-songwriter and former tourmate Lights, seems like a dream, and, in fact, she is. In the blink of an eye, she's gone.
