Taylor Swift Cancels Tour Dates Due to Bronchitis
Under her doctor's orders, Taylor Swift has been forced to cancel several dates on her summer Speak Now tour after coming down with bronchitis.
"It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend's shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta," the country star said in a statement. "I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do."
According MTV, Taylor's July 8 show in Charlotte, N.C. has been rescheduled for November 16, while her two Atlanta shows on July 9 and 10 have been moved to October 1 and 2, respectively.
Taylor canceled her Kentucky date last weekend, which was the first time the 21-year-old had to bow out of a show due to illness. "Louisville, I so sorry to have to postpone this show to Oct 11," she tweeted to her fans on July 2. "This is my first time having to do this. I'm so, so sorry."
After some much-needed time off, the singer will head back out on the road on July 14, resuming her tour in Montreal. Feel better, Taylor!
