Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer Not Returning for Fourth Season of 'Glee'
Just as we expected, 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that neither Lea Michele, Cory Monteith nor Chris Colfer will be returning for the fourth season of the hit Fox series.
According to E! Online, Ryan made it clear that the three stars are "not going to be back at all for season four." He added: "You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year."
The announcement of Lea, Cory and Chris' departure comes after the news that Chord Overstreet was not signed on as a series regular for Season 3. More New Directions members are likely to be graduating, as well, but Gleeks have an entire season to gear up for the cast changes.
The good news is that you'll be seeing more of Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr. this fall, and new 'Glee' characters will be added to the show. Where will some of the future additions be selected from? 'The Glee Project,' of course. What are your thoughts about watching a whole new 'Glee' cast?
