Taylor Swift Announces New Fragrance Called 'Wonderstruck'
Taylor Swift is getting into the fragrance game by launching her own scent called Wonderstruck this October. The name comes from the singer's 'Speak Now' song 'Enchanted,' which the 21-year-old wrote about Owl City's Adam Young.
"I wrote the lyric, 'I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,' for the song 'Enchanted' about the first time you meet someone," Taylor said in a press release. "A fragrance can help shape someone's first impression and memory of you. It's exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories."
The perfume is said to be "a gourmand floral; a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence." The bottle is a deep purple with a rainbow finish that features three charms: an antiqued gold Moravian star, dove and birdcage.
"Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories," she added. "Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time."
With Justin Bieber setting records with his Someday fragrance, Taylor will have some stiff competition in the perfume market, but something tells us she'll be just as successful.
