It's that time again! The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards are coming up next month, and Katy Perry is leading the pack with a whopping nine nominations at this year's show.

The pop star's video for 'Firework' is up for Best Female Video and Video of the Year, while her 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' vid, featuring a cameo by Rebecca Black, is up for Best Pop Video -- and that's just to name a few.
Adele isn't trailing far behind the California native, raking in seven noms this year for her amazing 'Rolling in the Deep' video. Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are some of the other notable artists up for four or more VMAs.

Justin Bieber made a huge splash at last year's awards show, but this time around he only scored one nom in the category of Best Male Video for 'U Smile.'

Check out a full list of nominees and vote for your favorites on MTV.com. The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards airs on Sunday, August 28 at 9 p.m.
